white residue on carbs

After I am done riding I have been getting a milky residue on the top of one of the flame arrestors. I remember seeing a thread on this problem but cant find it. Any ideas on what could be causing this? I know its the fuel, oil mixing with water but why is it only on top of one flame arrestor.

Do you have a primer? What kind of flame arresters? When I prime my ski the spray is hard enough to splash fuel everywhere (if I'm looking down into carbs with arresters off) just a thought....
