Why you dont backflip a square

It was really nice out today, had just watched my buddy land his first two backies ever and i guess I was just feeling it. i have never pulled a backflip dont have enough power or skill for that matter but i was feelin it you know? I had the perfect wake and everything so i went for it,came out of my footholds ski landed upside down and broke off my fuel filler door and hood popped loose,no big deal, motor sucked in a bit of water,so we towed it back in. When we got back and pulled hood off I had quite a surprise, broke the handlepole bracket and broke all the way thru the hull too.Fail.View attachment 195921

I have felt you're pain, only mine was in blue...and I got mine on vid.

Surprising how consistant the damage is from one ski to another. Good luck on the repair. I stripped my entire hull down and hung it upside down from the ceiling of my shop so I could pop my head up inside the hull to perform the repair.

My pole bracket broke in the EXACT same spot as well. You would think there would be some variation as to where they break lol I'll be choppin up my sq this winter... if I don't go a/m...
