So Defoaming and sealing everything up on the jetski was a major PITA. After countless hours of work i have finally got the beast into primer.

I ended up using polystyrin and cut that up

For any of you XFT fans who have leaky footholds... Mine will never be leaking ever again :headbang::headbang:

I have not mounted up the pole yet or the hood. It was placed on for pics.

I am waking up at 9 am tomorow to spray the rest of the ski black. Then soon hopefully some parts come in. I get enough money to afford turf and hopefully riding in the next week

My previous employer closed so im trying to stay jobless all summer till school starts and i do side jobs. I live in an area that everyone pays for everything to get done. Lucky for me my family has alll the tools.

I am spraying base coat clear coat. No more then 45 min of wetsanding. I used an Epoxy High build primer wet blocked it with 400 and sprayed her in the garage later that day. 3 coats of black 1 light coat of clear and 2 heavy passes of clear.

and miss lace lol.... shes too cool for school now.. lol not literally. but i guess people change. its a real messed up sloppy situation. Lets just say all this time i have spent with my ski i have been accused of doing wrongful things. Girls are nuts. I just cant wait to get the ski done to be able to ride off my stress.

So I sprayed the paint this morning before all the bugs come out.

my camera is charging so I only have this once cell phone pic for you. Cell phone pic sucks.

Sooo she is all painted and done. The sad part is.. after spraying half way through the first coat of base my Devilbiss GTI spray guns tip ended up breaking internaly (never let people borrow spray guns) so I ended up running to harborfrieght and buying a shattty 25 dollar spray gun and sprayed it. I dont feel like waiting any longer. for a 25 dollar spray gun, garage conditions, makeshift paint booth and it still came out decent.

Im upset i had the clear run in the one pic. Only place it ran on the whole ski.

The hood and nose were not painted. I am leaving them gelcoat black so i do not scratch it up and tear paint off doing hood tricks

Comin out good bro..... i see you held the gun a little to long on one spot....hahahah...... that sucks when that happens, happened on my last build, ended up wiping out the spot with a lacquer thinner then touching it up.
