Youngest to Flatwater Flip?

it takes virtually no skill to do a flatwater flip, try one in the surf where it's 100 times more critical and you won't think surf flips don't count.

I know of many people who completed flat flips on their first or second tries, you just have to have the right boat. Surf you need balls and ski does not matter. It's totally opposite...

Come on, i understand people who ride 850cc and more maybe its easier, but try to do a flip with a 701cc or a 800cc(sxr) with a aftermarket hull on pure flatwater, its not that easy. Just to have a setup wake perfect its crazy hard. There is not many people who do that on a limited setup, because its really not easy.

You guys take stuff way too serious.

I said surf flips don't count because the OP was talking about FLAT WATER FLIP.

Flat water flips are easy with the right set up.. I know that. I wouldn't expect anything less with that kind of a set up. I've seen people flip my ski first try.

I've never done a surf flip, so I can't say anything from personal experience, but after seeing videos of 550's and stock SJ's flipping in the surf, I can only imagine that surf flips are easier, but it definitely takes more guts to commit to it.

Flat Water - More ski = less skill
Surf - All about commitment
