I've only had 2 sets of aftermarket carbs. Both sets were Novi 48's. I used o1 set on limted SXR and 760 blaster. Tim at Novi got me the jet specs for sxr and Scottie Mac took care on me with blaster. Both tune by me, famous racer #216 Joe P & a PET tach. Both sets had excellent throttle responce thru the full rpm range.

Jay - I couldnt tell much, if any diffrence from my used 48mm Riva Powerboms to my brand new Full Spectrums 49mm. That was with same jetting specs.
If i were to buy new aftermarket cabs, and py full retail i would go with Riva PB.

It seems a lot of the big freestyle engine builders are all praising the full spectrums for the great hit down low. I have novis on all my race skis, after trying multiple diferent carbs, its hard to beat novis easy tuning, as long as your close on initial tune it runs perfect everyday. I hated black jacks for their lack of hit, and everyone with blackjacks hated my ski for its instant hit and lack of smooth power. Full specs felt great all around tho, and i will be buying a set for my new freestyle ski!
