Custom/Hybrid daytona aftermarket hull test rides?

I am in the market for an aftermarket hull (ex: bob or superfreak, etc, (for flatwater) and would like to test ride one before I buy and saw a thread for world finals that had test rides for some aftermarket hulls, as this will be my first actual attendance to a freeride event I was wondering if there will be such an event to test ride some aftermarket hulls on flat water at the daytona freeride? Just to be sure I'm not a "wheel kicker" and am seriously in the market but I live in the "armpit" of the country and don't have the opportunity to ride these hulls. Please let me know if any such event will be available, Thank you.

Why? Don't waste your time just buy a freak!...you'll thank me:naughty:

No seriously, there are a lot of good hulls out there I just love my freak for flatwater riding...your best bet is to save your $$ and buy one complete! HUGE SAVINGS if you go this route.

We can get you a demo on some flatwater skis, freak, Xfs, maybe a Lenzi ....

Joel's right buy a freak for pure flatwater... Brian at thrust has a freak hull painted and turfed for sale or could do a build, he also has a Lenzi ready to go...

I rode a Superfreak all year, best all around hull for flatwater, chasing boats, etc IMO

But I will say the Lenzi is a very fun ski to ride!

That would be awesome, and thinkin I will probably look for a complete ski, been leanin twords a BOB mostly of the fact that they are cheaper (if I had an extra 26g's layin around a while ago I would have a nice freak already haha) I just don't wanna drop a bunch of money into a ski that I would regret later.

this is a pretty friendly crowd.....see a ski you like go and talk to the owner, you'l likely find they'll offer to let you ride it efore you even have to ask!

We normally get together at Lake Diaz on Friday for some flatwater unless the surf is EPIC at Daytona... Last year we had Thrust, XS, GA crew, bunch of us out riding....

Lake Diaz is 30 minutes from the ride zone...

A flatwater day sounds fun, but usually when I get down there I can't pull myself away from the surf. Maybe Surf in the AM and flat water in the afternoon.
