Ballistic Batteries Warranty

So, seems like my Ballistic battery just quit. It's sitting at 10 V and the charger throws a low vol cell error. I emailed their customer support.
Note that the battery worked fine last time out (used only twice, an hour each and recharged on their smart charger after each of the two uses.)
It worked fine when I started it up to blow out the waterbox.
I then removed it from the ski and set it on my bench for about a week. After that, the problems mentioned above.


UPDATE 4/25/2012

Ballistic has recognized that their printed warranty cards do not match their online warranty policy. They apologized and want to replace my one 12 cell with two 16 cell batteries.
Well handled.

Did your ignition perhaps have a drain on it? They don't like that if they sit for a few weeks.

I had the battery removed since it was in the water last.

Did you use there charger? How old are your electronics?

Pretty much new electrics, new ATP brain. I used Ballistic's balancing charger

That is strange. Try a trickle charger on it but don't let it sit on float mode. I think mate outside on the driveway is a good spot to do that.

Must of been just a faulty battery then, if you dont here back from ballistic right away. Shoot me a pm and I can give the president of the companies contact info, he pretty great to deal with

There one customer service guy there was pretty stand offish to me aswell. When you talk to Jeffre let him know how cooperative they've been

Did you try a trickle charge on it to see if you can bring the volts up?

I did for a couple hours. It brought it up, but also got it pretty warm.
I got it on there again, sitting in the middle of the garage floor isolated from everything by seven feet

How was the voltage? When my shoria puked it was bouncing volts all over upto 19 volts???? It had water in it. I wonder if the trickle would bring yours up high enough so the ballistic charger could take over.

It got it up to 11.9V but the charger still didn't like it

President of the company shot me down , too.
Essentially, if you're running total loss you won't be getting a warranty replacement. Even says so in the warranty statement.

Yay $200 paperweight after two uses.
The best they could do was a new battery at half price.
I'm not sure I want to take them up on that
