Rad flywheel stuff...

There seems to be some questions about lightened flywheels lately. Guys with 2nd + hand RAD flywheels might be in need of the original installation instructions. Here you go... It's interesting that the factory spec for torque on the flywheel bolt is @51 ft lb. Here's what RAD's recommended 80 ft lbs does to a flywheel bolt after a few on/offs. Hey...do you remember STRETCH ARMSTRONG? What do you think would be a good # for a aluminum flywheel?

For whatever it may be worth....I have torqued my MSD TL FLywheels (AL hub) anywhere from 55-70ftlbs without troubles.

Of course, I would boil them before installation. I understand you're not supposed to do that with the RAD wheels.
