I like the limited chamber better than the mod

After extensive testing and though the limited is a pain in the arse to install compared to the mod, the power is incredible down low and pulls hard up top as well.

This is done at 1/3 open on top screw, bottom and middle closed with no restrictors(yet) and a stock head and msd enhancer.

I have heard that also but haven't been able to do any testing on my own.

Hopefully I can do some testing by next year on a 850+ cc motor.

i have had both and also feel the limited made more power.but i have only ever had limited setups.the general consensus is that the mod works better on big cc/stroker setups than the limited.this is peculiar to me because in every other 2smoke i can think of bigger chamber always makes more power:shrug:

I've tried both chambers too on a ported engine and found the limited pipe to have a lot more bottom end but the mod gave me about 250 more rpm on the top speed.

I, too, have found the limited to be better down low (ported 760 motors).

The shorter chamber of the Mod allows for better topend. It's not really better for bottom end on a bigger and badder motor - it's just that that motor can make up for that bottom end loss by grund and/or compression and then take advantage of the better mid to top the mod pipe provides.

i have had a limited as well as a mod
i found the mod had more hit in the middle but lost topend as well as low end
Im not sure why it didnt rev up top a bit harder
i tried to get it back but i couldnt
So its limited chambers for me all the time now

I recently borrowed a limited chamber while the big a$$ crack in my mod was being welded up. I did notice that the bottom end hit was noticably better. I should have traded for it while I had the chance.

Yes, limited pipe. (in the pic.) Can you say 1000 cc? (992cc with room to grow)
Even the Mod Waveblaster pipe is better (IMO) than the Superjet mod chamber, just be careful about trying to run a lot of compression w/blaster mod chamber they do increase the piston top temperature.

good tip!
