Ok so I have removed some of the easy to get to turf like in the footholds and such. (Wasn’t glued sown very well) but there are some parts the turf is glued down really well and does not pull very easily. I have been reading some posts and still want more advice.

! Oh and who just realized that Yamaha puts 5 shotty rusty screw. Bolts holding the back bumper on slid the cover other day and right away thought now I have to spend more $ next time Yamaha use stainless steel!!!!!!!!!
I almost could not get one off
Also I striped one of the black side bumper screws so now I have to drill it out.

Moving on

What’s the best/quickest method for removing stubborn turf?

Have you tried a heat gun? I took my fx1 factory turf off almost in one piece with a heat gun. I just heated it up real good and slowly pulled it up.

i used a heat gun and a razor blade paint scraping tool. (it holds a straight edge razer flat and gives you a handle, looks like a small paint brush only razor instead of bristles) it worked pretty damn good.

just scrape best you can and turf over whats left. it doesnt need to be clean at all, your just going to cover it up again!
my bumper was on with rivets, im not sure yamaha put those screws in.

Yeah I forgot to mention that what was left I used a staight blade scraper like you would use to remove stickers off of glass. The heat gun will make the turf more flexible and it will make it turn loose from the ski. I done my first ski without a heat gun and it took probably 5 times longer. 3m adheisive remover will take the residue of the glue off.

Here's what's worked well for me: I use a cheap fish filet knife with a very sharp and skinny tip.
Get started lifting the turf in one corner.
As you pull the loose turf away from the hull perpendicularly (keep tension on it!), slice away with the knife tip to get more to come loose.
Keep the knife sharp.
