Jesse, flat heads are even worse to get out when there is a problem.

I've never had a problem witha flat head....it seems they never strip. I made sure i was so carefull with my carb screws about pressure, angle and driver size and they still stripped.

I'll stick with my antisieze and flat head.....I'm sure in some cases they are not needed but its just my thing. It started out in RC cars and has satyed with me....I always convert my phillips to allen or flat ASAP

Ain't that the truth.

I am using Jetskisolutions' SS carb screw kit - those are all Allen head. They work great.

I messed around with a carb with those in it, hated it, took forever to get it apart because of having to switch sizes. I can take my carbs completely apart with 2 screwdrivers, and if I'm doing popoff it's just one.

That is a concern - however, I now have a little carb-tool baggie that has the three or so sizes in it.
