Sorry I have been lurking recently and not posting much.
Way too busy with what life is throwing at me right now.

How many skis will you keep in there? I'm working on a 5x10 trailer and 5' wide barely seems like enough. Also, can you stand up inside?

Very cool trailer! Digging the mods etc...

BTW... I spy a 64 Cadillac bumper.

The plan is to Haul 2 skis.
I can always put one in the back of my truck if it gets to be too tight.
But they should fit.
That is my Welder's shop. He is always working on something.

Very nice... thought about doing something similar... why the long tongue?

I was not planning on making it that long.
I basically wanted a removable hitch so that I can park it and go explore without having to worry about someone simply hooking up to it and taking it....trust me, it has happened to other people. My welder then suggested to make it longer in case I ever needed to have that extra space.

Who makes that tent? That's pretty sick, I like that setup!

They are in Santa cruz which makes it somewhat local for me.
I did save money on shipping costs by picking it up myself.
The guy that sells them is Legit and extremely helpful.

They better be for what they are selling them for!

Yeah, they are definitely not for the "once a year" camping enthusiast.
I am about to start monthly 3 day Pismo trips, this is on top of all the other camping I do.
If you are into serious camping, then this is for you.
If not I would myself stick to a regular tent and spend the money elsewhere.

More pics coming soon!

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pictures. Windows and stabilizing jacks were installed.
"Walk on" fenders were fabbed from Diamond plate with steel tubes as reinforcement underneath....solid!

Floor is done for now. I use linoleum squares from Home Depot.
They are thick and self adhesive....good quality and cheap too!
A hitch was also added in the back.

More pictures coming!

I am not a fan of bling bling!
So I decided to paint the Fenders.
Besides the amount of sun reflection from them was unbearable.

Better shots of the inside.
The plywood panels are the originals.
I just applied 2 coats of natural wood stain.
The plan is to replace them with nice Birch wood eventually.

The folding mattresses are 6'2 which is plenty of room for me.
There is also a reason why there are 2 but you will have to wait to find out. ;)
Did I say they are super comfortable to sleep on? The best I have ever slept while camping.
