Some more pics of winter riding.
It was about 25 degrees today, with the water at maybe 33.

Things started icing over pretty quickly. That was cool at first, then dangerous.
My throttle cable froze WOT a few times.
On top of that, I noticed that the kill switch was also frozen and staying up even without the lanyard.
Then Mike tore his drysuit bootie and we decided to call it a day.
Fun riding, though.

Yes, that's ice on my tour coat, helmet, and ski.

wow... you guys are nuts.

i know the drysuit and the hothands work well to stay warm but even the cold air on the face would be enough to make me wimp out.

i salute you insane 33 degree riders.

with all due respect to your dedication this can not be good for the engine even if restricted.. ??

It's fine.
The cooling water coming out is at least 100 degrees.
Single cooling in (to the motor) and dual coming out, restricted to 2mm each.

so who did a sub?

Mike did.
I was too worried about my throttle cable.

was that fun?

Yes, it was great.

We really don't get a lot of snow here, and it's never consistent. Usually gone in a few days.
Besides, I can afford only one motorized toy. And I like riding.

Yeah whatever keeps you riding. Back in the day I used to ride when it's cold but not like that. Hardcore for sure:Banane09:

Hey, you gotta beat boredom somehow.
I need to come up with something to keep the throttle cable from freezing up.
Maybe some oil/grease down the sleeve.
