I've got a blowsion airforce aka covercraft on my SJ with big riser bars. It's very thin and I wasn't overly impressed with the quality but it works.

Are you sure they are CoverCraft? I've owned a bunch of different covers from various manufacturers including OEM and CoverCraft are the thickest(or at least tied for 1st place)I've seen.
