Took a trip down to DJR this morning to see the progress on the hulls, what can i say, the engineering quality and sheer beauty if these has to be seen to be believed. I cant wait to collect the assembled hull in a few weeks time

Hi Harbor,
The hull you see there is the prototype of the Nitro.
For surf, we planned to add a full length sponson to the ski to make it more stable for surf, but we were so pleased with the stability on flatwater, we only needed to add front sponsons and rear fins to the hull for big surf (which our surf rider Dan Foy has since thoroughly tested). For our surf hulls, you can have this option you see fitted, but it will only have these for the front area (where a sponson would usually go). But you do not need them to be able to retro fit sponsons for surf.

It was awesome to get delivery in Daytona and I really appreciate all the blood, sweat, and swear words that went into this ski. Dan and Phil proved to be world class and built something special.
