Pfp on a 701

Hi guys
Has anyone fitted a pfp to a ported 701 ? Been offered one for a good price. But don't want to waist my money . If no good . Discuss

We used one on one of my ported 718cc and on my last 771cc big bore. It did fine but it does require a smaller prop than a B pipe. @McDog has one on one of my 727cc motors in a circus with total loss and a 155 pump and it was great.

I'm runner 144 pump and protect f pipe and pretect head at the moment.plus it will all be going in an am hull! Thanks for the info

Lots of guys running PFP on smaller engines, I have had one on both a 701 and currently a 760, neither ported and works just fine

Might not be as snappy as a well setup b pipe down low but still works great

I have on one my ported 701. As said, it's not as snappy down low. I'm still tuning mine, but converting the pipe to wet helped quite a bit. Still dialing in the water inject quantity to get the pipe hot enough to work properly.
