Custom/Hybrid Superfreak question

Does a superfreak badass require a shorter drive shaft? Will a limited b pipe chamber fit? Do you need a special intake grate? Anything else special?

Thanks

Standard pre-'08 SJ driveshaft, B-pipe fits just fine, any SJ intake grate will work but you may have to either grind or shim the front end depending on how it fits in the recess in the hull - varies by grate it seems...

The only thing that would not work in my SF badass build were couch mounts......they were too high...I had to go Rhaas Superjet mounts and then I still ovaled the holes so the motor and pump shaft could line up perfectly.

Or you have to grind/machine some thickness off bedplates where they attach to motor mounts. Not fun but it works.

X2 on loving the badass. I got my -7" last June and is the best of both worlds for me. I can ride at near 50mph for as long as I like, and I could nose flatwater backflips with a 701/38's/B Pipe/Enhancer/185 PSI

Good luck
