used b-pipes shouldnt cost more than $450-500 (MAX) when you can buy new for $700
i agree with smurf when he says just order it .. and it will come... have heard that many times, they say they dont have it, you place the order and it ships within next few days..
.. i think their sales tatic works on scarsity, so it keeps the price and demand up, however, the down side is it creates an unrealistic used price

Pretty much, FP is not offering a "dealer" price any longer.
Essententially raising the retail price from a dealer, or the custumer has to buy it from FP themselves.

exactly. even supertune told me to buy direct. x-metal wont stock them anymore because they have to mark it up. just call cindy and give her the credit card number. you'll be surprised how quick it shows. one more thing its not just factory that uses the scarcity tactic, people on here do it too. with the BS statements like "they are gonna be out of stock for 6 months cuz they only make like 10 a year"

it seems on the used market its not just b-pipes that have over inflated prices, ived notice intake manifolds being sold, used for $120-160, you can buy a new R&D Manifold at Atlantic Jet sports for $129 and the Protect manifolds, NEW are $169.
maybe we are just lazy and dont research, but it pays to surf the net and look for new sometimes

smrbum was trying to buy 2 for his X2's and he was told they would be in at the end of september. I think as inventory runs lower they don't like to break up the packages. smfbum only wanted the head pipe and chamber.

after looking at a few items in the for sale section and seeing the crazy prices being asked....thought id bring this back to life... not for b-pipes... but anything else you might be looking for... some advice... check new before you buy...

i am pretty sure i paid over 1000.00 for my pipe brand new with shipping, duty, exchange, import fees. I think that if you get a used pipe complete and in decent shape with for 500.00 or less it is still good. if you can afford new then yeah go for it but if your on a budget, have a crappy riva red or something then if you can get one in your ski for 500 your doing okay. canadians get screwed, there are no deals, lol.

no kiddin, i love paying lots of money for parts and then before the ups guy puts it in my hand he needs me to pay him another 80.00. i am waiting for my next blowsion order and i have it usps so it takes longer but no extra fees. i got all winter, lol.

Factory Pipe is horrible at giving shipping times. It took Wammer over 2 months to get about 2 dozen pipes. The casting is usually horrible. There have been castings blocking the cooling jackets in the manifold. At Wam's they smooth out the bad casting inside the manifold and head pipe.
