    Hello Jetrace19, can you help me with "how to mod" of stock waterbox on my sxr?

    All you have to do is cut the waterbox on a band saw. Once the box has been split you will see the inner baffle. Drill 6 - 1 1/'4" holes in any pattern on the baffle and reweld the box back together. Some guys completely remove the baffle and then reweld the box back together, but I have had good success with the holes drilled in and not completely gutted.
