Do yourself a favor and put together a "ski" tool box with the standard stuff you'd need, those allen wrenches, ODI grip allens, wrenches, screw drivers, sockets, etc. When you need to work on the ski, grab the whole box.

If QM can't help ya, my step-dad is a fabricator in a boat shop and makes fuel tanks on a regular basis. I'm sure I can get it made for under $300, maybe under $200 if you've simplified it enough.

Sounds like loose plugs. Install 2 new plugs and torque to 18ft/lbs and give that a try.
