I wrote on your thread. Your motor is old and if it has a lot of hours on it, I recommend a full rebuild and DO NOT RESLEEVE. You have 5 bore sizes to go through....Order a top end from Wiseco along with a gasket kit. The pistons will give you the bore size. If your going to do the boring at a local shop, clean up the sharp edges on the ports with a file so you don't snag a ring. About $250 for the top end and about $40 a hole to bore.
If your going to do a bottom end, (highly recommended, your crank is on its last leg and could take out your whole motor $3500 total). Get a crank and seals from SBT. About $300 total.
This way you are reliable for another 4 years if you keep it stock. (no pipes or add ons)
