i normally will go as far as building the crate and then arranging to get the ski to a pick up point, the shipping is the buyers resonsibility, crate build i can give you pointers on, normally around $200 in materials, globalpacknship.com seems to have good rates, the last three skis i shipped used them, two were to europe and one across to alberta
