I saw your post about Surf Slam and other events. The closest one to you is coming up in October at Pismo Beach (Oceano Dunes actually). It is just a freeride, not a comp. Lots of riders and skis there from beginners to pros. We come out from Colorado every year for it. It should be the weekend of Oct 12-14
