    Custom/Hybrid 2 Stroke EFI

    • Exhaust gas temperature (EGT) based fuel compenstaions (optional) Thats key! Based on the facts, this could be a good system. Personally I wouldnt build one purely based on the time it takes to build a map on the dyno. Without one, youd be looking at 100+ plus hours writing a map

Other Sunk Ski in Lake Erie...how do we find it...

According to my handbook here, post avalanche snow is 80percent water density. How much of that is ice vs water? Just curious. Id like to atleast test this.. Got a snowmobile 260 ft down in the lake right now. Now that is what you call gone forever

Other Sunk Ski in Lake Erie...how do we find it...

Avalanche snow is vastly different than regular snowpack. Acts like water when its moving, concrete whens it stops. Im not saying its close to the density of water but its a lot closer than average snowpack. Ive been accurate to a foot diameter 15 feet down. 6 guys, 8 hours digging. A beacon...

Retorque the cylinder studs every ride for atleast the first twenty hours. These cylinders are a very poor casting. Ive had atleast ten that seep coolant out the side.

    Surfriding Aluminum Hull

We had aluminum slipon bottoms for 550s back in the day. They handled a little goofy until we sandblasted them. Also they dont glide on rocks like fiberglass, they just stop. Need some uhmw replaceable bottoms for serious whitewater. Anybody want to make me one?

I used a Skidoo motor mount on mine, mostly because I had plenty. Bolted right up to mine. Sd #512060387, theyre probably expensive from Skidoo. Might try Pam, she didnt know there was a different style than a lord mount used when I tried

A little fun we were having on the lake this year, thought some of you guys would enjoy this. The last video is a little rockcrawling we had to do on the snowmobiles to get back to the snow. These were all the same day, we also had a quick moto ride in the afternoon and ended up surfing to...

Other why do snowmobile engines make more hp per cc than watercraft 2 strokes?

1000LD Cat would be perfect. 160-170 hp at 7000-7200 rpm. And thats stock. Even with a inefficient watercraft exhaust, it would rock.

Custom/Hybrid Aluminum Hull?? is is practical?

I wouldnt even consider it unless youre running a lot of rocks like our crew. But for rocks, yeah its great except that when you hit rocks with glass, you continue to glide over. Aluminum digs in and you got from 15-20 mph to stop pretty fast
