Ok Im new on the stand up jet ski so I have a question on ride plates. I bought a r&d pro series ride plate and its shorter than whats on the 750sx. Isnt it better to have a longer plate than a shorter one? What is the length on a stock plate? Im just wondering if that is a aftermarket ride...

im putting on my block off plate and was just wondering if i need to put some gaskit sealer on the plate before i put it on?

I just bought a very nice 750 sx and the only thing wrong with it is the chin pad has a hunk takin out of it. What can i do about repairing the foam? Could I use styrofoam in a can, spray it in the bad spot and then shave down to fit? Any help would be appreciated!!!
