At that particular point in time I was under the assumption that the flywheel was good, you know, just like you described it when you sold it to me.
After I talked to Robert I found out that the flywheel was no longer good for anything other than a paper weight. If I would have known that in...
I bought a Jetinetics Flywheel from him a few years ago that he claimed was in good condition (He removed it from his current running jetski). When I recieved it, the ring gear was chewed up and there were quite a few micro-cracks that propogated from the bolt holes on the hub to the kidney...
Just a FYI, you cant get the 760 crankshafts from www.servicehonda.com for $406. I placed an order online for a few crankshafts last night and I recieved a phone call today from them with the correct price (something around $640 each).
I asked them not to process my order.
Also, the 760...
Does anyone have any pictures showing the differences between the 650/701, and 760 cranks?
Are the OEM crank side couplers the same or interchangable with one another?
I'm trying to get ahold of hangtime, does anyone have his contact information?
I purchased a B Pipe from him on August 30th and I have yet to recieve the pipe or any proof of shipment from him. On September 21st he said he would issue a refund by Friday September 25th as he had already spent...

The B Pipe chambers are stamped out of 3000 Series or 5052 Aluminum so you need to use an ER4043 or ER5356 aluminum filler rod if you're going to TIG weld it.
I picked up a stock 95 FX-1 today and I have a couple of questions.
The ski has a few scratches in the purple gel coat, does Yamaha, or anyone else sell a gelcoat repair kit or touch up paint that matches this color?
I have to finish a few other projects before I start thinking about doing...
If you'd like to try one of the "flappers" that Kawasaki used on the 750SX, I have a few to get rid of.
I believe these were intended to be more of a noise reduction device rather than a seal to prevent water from coming back into the exhaust system/engine via the through hull exhaust passage...
I have two Factory Pipe Limited chambers and the stinger on one of the chambers is welded on at about a 30 degree offset where as the other is straight. Can anyone tell me why the stingers are welded on in different orientations?
Also, on Factory Pipe's website, they describe two different...
The two outer-most intake manifold mounting holes on the 6M6 Cases stick out (away from the rest of the motor) quite a bit further than they do on the 61X cases.
The manifold in the picture is definantly for the 6M6 cases.
Eric.
Could someone tell me if there is any difference between OEM Yamaha and ProX piston rings? Both sets (which are now mixed up) have the same cross-sectional dimensions. The height of the tallest part of the Keystone is .047" and the width is .114" on all four piston rings.
Is there any problem...
It's a completely different ski now but I probably changed too many things at once to know for sure exactly how each modification changed the handling characteristics. There was definantly a huge change in the way the ski handles, especially compared to the way the stock 750SX hull used to...
