I have had to replace 2 over the years. If you test the stator cold and it ohms out ok ride the ski then test it hot. I found that my reading climbed at least 100 ohms when it was hot and breaking down. I allowed it to cool and it tested normal again. Mine was a 62t which should be around 500...
