Yeah as Ryan said, we need a video to see the setup. Everything else looks good. You are really close and have the form figured out.
You might be coming at your setup wake too fast. That's the most common thing for new people, or if you've flipped off wakes.

The mani and headpipe should be the same as the newer ones. Just the chamber is different. A limited or mod chamber will work with it.
But, to work on a 62t cylinder, you'll need to helicoil the threads of the mani bolts.
The 62t cylinder uses bigger exhaust bolts.

Yeah, should be easy to figure out from here. Try it without the plugs in to see if it turns over(not hydrolocked) if it doesn't, then it could be a starter. Of course you can try the tapping on the starter trick to see if it bust loose. Tap on it while hitting the button. If it does, still buy...

Check out spectrum color, most boat manufacturers use them, so you can get exact replacement color gel.
