    Strap length for limitedslip tanks

This is an old pic. you cant see that the kevlar rope (actually its dyneema which is chafe free and not reactive to fuels, oils ) is actually also attached to the same front fasteners that were holding the base of the two straps....I have since removed the straps as they were too loose and in the...

    750 bogging issue

That west coast pipe and water box is pretty good waking up the motor... I had a few of those in the day.......much better than any stock system...so I suspect you could have a pop off issue which shows up only on the water under load. Measure pop off on carbs and drop by 8 psi as a start...

    750 bogging issue

assuming that it was running just fine in the original hull....I would ask what exhaust system are you using now in the SX hull....it might be that your pop off is now way too high for a less restrictive exhaust...that would lead to bogging.....else stick with what Pro-pulsion said.

    Custom/Hybrid Superfreak question

The only thing that would not work in my SF badass build were couch mounts......they were too high...I had to go Rhaas Superjet mounts and then I still ovaled the holes so the motor and pump shaft could line up perfectly.

    SN Front sponsons placement?

if you could push it upwards another 1/4 inch...perfect....even if that means you have to slide it a lttel backwards to the rear end of the ski

    SN Front sponsons placement?

If you mount them flush with the bottom, you could end up wobbly at speed on fast FW / glassy runs.....feels like chine walking but works great in surf, and for hard carving. 1/4 inch up....still great for flat water, and great for surf...

    Scorched coating off bpipe??

just a useless comment.... I towed a buddy back to the launch ramp one time (about 3 miles) but noticed my pisser water getting extremely hot, so we stopped to take a breather, When I re-started the near boiling water in my motor leaking out backwards down to the pump had softened the inlet...

    Help

if the carb jets were blocked, just gunked up, or fuel pump diaphram went faulty (hard or holed) or it was not getting an air pulse from the crank case....thats enough to blow that hole in the piston. open it up and check every possible part, replace most and blow all orifices out with...

    Superjet not starting after riding

doesnt sound electrical to me.....more fuel related does your fuel tank stay pressurized. ...release the fuel cap slightly to hear if air rushes out....if not fix fix the one way valve or find the air leak.....next issue could be leaking needle/seat.....do a pop off test to check this....next...

Super Jet At a loss...trying to get running before the season ends

Agree with the electrics theory and timing possibly off.....dumping a cap full of fuel in the carbs should always get it to run or even scream for 10-20 seconds or so
