Then your crank could be worn. Really hard to say without a tear down. If you want "Peace" of mind,... Then tear it down. It's better than a 5 hour run time and a rod hanging out the side of the block.

Test the wires coming from the stator to the Ebox to rule out the stator. Then test the coil. If all that tests out then throw a another CDI in there.
