My First Stand-up - The story of a 38year old man who makes poor financial decisions.

ok cool, this is essentially how I planned to approach it. Now I've just got to pick up the pace and stay motivated when I actually find time to work on it. I would have liked to have got them trimmed and the hull sanded around the bonding area yesterday, but I got distracted working on...

She's looking pretty thicc lol Do you guys think thickened epoxy will be strong enough to hold this against the hull, or should I put foam behind it and create a fillet with epoxy to seal it up?

One side was trimmed a bit differently on the bottom and that was the side i was messing with first which made the fitment seem even further off... I found #zeros original thread and it had some more reference pix for placement and it made it pretty clear that the rockered nose was definitely...

Ok cool. I think I'll probably just go with it and trim the fronts and reshape them as needed.

Yeah they were way too far back... The rear hole would have been screwed into the tray..no bueno.. I think this is more suitable but I'll have to back fill a few areas with foam and trim the front and cap it with epoxy...yay...more sanding.

Ok. Honest opinions... Are these too far back? They are Tom21 tubbies and this is the only orientation where they fit the contour of my rockered pre-08 bottom half...the rear is about at the middle of the pump tunnel. I don't know enough about 1.jetski handling in general 2.proper sponson...

Thanks! I've got a few more parts to coat and a few more parts I need, but I feel like I'm getting closer... I think I'm going to make lists of everything I already have, everything I know I still need, and then hopefully people can chime in on what I'm overlooking or if I'm overthinking...

well... I made it a whole week without cutting up that perfectly good pro-tec ride plate...... Used an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel which sucked, but a flap wheel and DA cleaned it up nicely. This was just prior to going on a sandblasting rampage... I lost a lot of pix from my phone...

    Any contact with Rhaas?

Well, this is getting annoying... 2/15 - Emailed Robin several times prior to placing my order with questions about compatibility etc. to make sure I was ordering the right things... Was told on 2/15 that everything was in stock except the motor mounts which should be ready "in about a week"...

    (FOUND) B.O.B foothold bindings

This is more of a cosmetic thing regarding the bob bracket and exterior plate as the gunwales of the hull are specifically prepped for them-- they are recessed...I'm probably going to redo the tray/gunwales/bottom if end up keeping it and building it... Haven't decided it's fate yet.

Looking for at least the plates/brackets to re-install on a hull that was previously prepped for them. PM me with what you've got. Thanks!
