Hoping someone can help me find an insurance company in Canada that will insure a stand-up. I've called 4 places and they all keep saying they will not insure a stand up model due to increased liability. I tried MD Marine, StateFarm, Northern, another another one I can't recall off the top of my...
Wish I could go this year. I went 3 years in a row but couldn't make it last year, and can't this year either. :( Such an awesome time all 3 years I went. :)

If air freighted, about 5 to 6 days including customs. My 50cal shipped Monday and supposed to arrive this weekend.

Yup already confirmed with Krash, that was what held up the delivery for the last month. All known issues are supposed to be corrected prior to shipment. :)
Out of curiosity anyone had any issues with EPA or other authority regarding emissions? I just got my confirmation from Krash that my 50Cal is ready to go but I need to sign a waiver for EPA because it doesn't meet their emissions standard thus the ski is designated for race/competition only...
Awesome man. That is so great to hear :) seems like every single person is saying the same thing about the Krash guys and their dedication to make things right and keep us happy. Props to Krash. I look forward to some ride reviews, hopefully you don't have any more issues :)

That is absolutely awesome to hear. Almost sounds like the early adopters lucked out the most lol. I don't think Nick will be making multiple trips to the US to everyone's house to tune their skis lol. I wonder if they were able to change that Chad guys mind and make him keep his skis. He won't...
This is probably the least of everyones concerns, but I thought id share. For anyone in Canada... I just confirmed with the Canadian Border Agency and there is an additional 9.5% duty on all Australian made watercraft, on top of Provincial Tax and GST or HST. So for me in Ontario, $12,000US...
Fyi, I just spoke with Krash again today and got a correction on the 50Cal dry weight, it's actually 285lb, not 320 like I was originally told. Still heavier than I think they should be but much better than 320.
Would be great if someone could weigh there's and confirm ;)

That person decided to ship it back, their perogitive. And that's literally the definition of a parts only warranty. I thought that was very clear from the beginning but maybe I just understood it differently. From day one I fully expected to have to wrench anytime there was an issue and Krash...
I wasn't trying to dismiss anyone's frustrations with Krash or fears. Chad and any other person whom has had issues has every right to be pissed and so would I. Hard not to be when it's eating into your summer. The problem is, instead of talking about the issues and working with Krash to resolve...
I see what you're saying, however you're talking about a company that was already producing products for 31 years before they released the Waverunner. You're comparing apples to oranges. Krash is entirely new with much less backing. Unfortunately that means relying on early adopters to fund R&D...
Okay I just have to say, it's way too easy for people to bash a company when the only stake that have in the company is a $500 refundable deposit and for many people, nothing.
In Krash's defense... They are a brand new company. Every new company, even Yamaha when they started went through...
I feel like we should keep a running tally of issues people are having so new people can confirm with Krash that these issues will be corrected on the next skis. Something as simple as a carb cover should not be having issues, ever.
