Here's the track from Hurricane Bill August 2009 in which at least 12 foot clean pure ground swell was epic at the secret spot. Best surf ever ! Could be similar conditions. A bunch of Tampa Bay Area guys are going Saturday n Sunday to Sebby on belief the zone will be closed/ limited.

I'm going with a stock 61x motor, bpipe and mag this surf season in SF4.3. Something more reasonable than a 900R in surf.

Yeah the hollow tray with dual scuppers concerns me to venture out into any rough or big conditions. Definitely a limited conditions surf ski and it needs a bilge pump to recover from being upside down a bit. Don't think even these would help at all in the nose/ engine compartments.

Did you have any issues with stock nozzle being bored to 91.5 ? I have mine at 90.35.

You can cut sensor wire up by ebox and put a little silicon on ends. I'm thinking ADA sells a bracket for mounting not sure.

Oem gives enough trim, if you have too much trim you lose too much thrust/height imo.

Riva racing can mill the oem head and adjust the squish to compensate then you could run the sensor at the risk of a cylinder cracking on the intake side because of no girdle. I have done this successfully before on a blaster and it gives 180 to 185 compression. Better to forget the sensor...

I took a 98 GP1200 nozzle and had it bored to 90.35 mm. It's thin on the very outside edge but tapers thicker quickly. Do you guys think I will eventually have a problem with it that thin ? So far 4 rides and it's golden and hits strong ! Notice the oem trim ring and flow guard.

I'm pretty sure the reason the SF turns flat is because of the wide keel but it makes for fun sliding on the face of waves and quick adjustments in the critical section of the waves. On FW it will throw 360 sliding spins easy. I have even seen Lucas slide a 360 on the face of a wave. Definitely...

No disrespect, but this statement is simply not true. A Superfreak Badass is much more stable than a SJ because it is a wider platform. I own both skis and have ridden both, the Superfreak is an Ocean cruiser compared to the SJ. No comparison on stability.

I wouldn't want to flat land from that height even if I could with 1000 mm of pad. That's really some major sick in the head height !

I did a Google search for 155mm pump nozzle list to no avail, I would suggest edit title of thread to add 155 so it might strike up more attention to guys running 155 pumps. I would like to see more info about these nozzles myself.

KDX is awesome with the 900R and 155 JM Skat pump, she hooks up strong !

Yes KDX panty dropper back in action. Not sure if full 5 degrees might be 4.35 but it's turned up a lot from a 98 GP1200. Did you see this chart that #zero posted before ?

What's your goal to get 5 degrees extra trim I would assume ?
