A front hitch hauler and beach cart will not cause issues on a healthy 1500+ truck. It's still less than a brush guard or winch and mount.

I put fiberglass poles with reflective tops on front corner of my hitch hauler, so I can see it in the driver's seat. Otherwise you're just guessing. They're $1 at the hardware store.

SXRs have wet tray areas with a drain plug. They use closed cell styrofoam that doesn't retain water. I have dual Versi-plugs on my SXR to drain the water in there ASAP. Yamaha uses an open cell foam in the tray areas.

Then that Foam is going to be very heavy!

SXR Dry weight is 370, not 400. SJ Dryweight is 306. 64 pounds not 100. Now wait a few years and the SXR will weigh less than 360, and the SJ will weigh more than 306(water logged). lol I knocked 50+ pounds off of my SXR 800.

I tried an SBT dampener on my SXR 800. It lasted about two weeks before losing chunks. I then went back to the original OEM, until I got another new OEM. The SBT was visually thinner (1/16"?) and not good rubber like the OEM. He said he was using OEM.
