    Sleeves for Able cylinders

Call ADA. they used to machine the Able cylinders and the sleeves came from NW I believe (regardless of what they say). ADA's sleeves for their first generation billet cylinders are similar & might work, but none will have the exhaust bridge that the Able did.

Where did all the 66e conversions go?

Without question! There are many PROVEN 62T based stroker and BB platforms out there. Parts are common (relatively), knowledge is abundant both from many builders in the biz and also riders who built their own. Simply put, there is no "set recipe", if you will, for a 66e platform. You have to...

Where did all the 66e conversions go?

To answer the original question (My opinion)... I think you don't hear much about these conversions because there are VERY FEW that actually are running and even fewer that are running WELL. Those that jumped on the bandwagon thinking it was the way to go either never got it complete due to lack...

    Protec 1/2 Girdle Question

Westcoast Head? Probably would work. Worst case you would have to stack some extra washers under the girdle if it doesnt clear the head.

    Octane Octane handling mods?

Don't know if you will get much race-worthy info here. Most of us are riding our Octanes for Freestyle/Freeride. If Prem1x is hiding out there, he might have some good suggestions for ya. I still run bouys for fun with my red Octane... I would suggest drilling another mounting hole for your...

    Penguin's RN build

I keep forgetting to drop in here and tell you... Your ski looks sweet Shawn! That is one of the best paint schemes I've seen in a while, although the purple is a bit :puke: (for me), it works with the other colors. Not to mention, the hood and everything else is top-shelf... beautiful! Get her...

    For all you OCTANE riders

Shorten the ride plate for flat water. Long works fine in the surf. You can cut/grind your own or find another one to buy and cut it instead. Nobody sells a short Octane ride plate.

    For all you OCTANE riders

definitely shorten your ride plate as mentioned. also try hitting your own setup wake and the octane will launch like a rocket. timing is critical too because they don't spool up fast like a yamaha Posted via Mobile Device

what do you know about the TNT chamber?

Heres what I know about the TNT chamber... It's trick, it's rare, it looks cool, it runs very well on my strokers, it is super easy to work on your ski with it - comes off in seconds for access to the fuel tank, flywheel cover, etc. I have not run one on a stock stroke setup. But I dont think...

    highroller customs flatwater build

The bond line IS NOT the same. The Octane is much wider and does not have a "kick-tail". BTW, Jace - glad to see you finally got it. Should be sweet, get that beast goin!

    anyone ever use 3m 8115

That stuff is awesome! The absolute best for putting on tubbies. Mine have been on for 2+ years (with no screws and not glassed over) using only the 8115 to bond them to my SJ. No cracks or separation. Not cheap, but worth it.

    Octanes RULE!!!!!

All i will add to this (and I've said it before) is that the Octane is the most underestimated ski out there. I will agree that it doesnt handle great like an SXR or even an SJ, but for what many of us do (freestyle/freeide) that doesn't matter. Not to mention, there are a few simple mods that...

At our altitude, you'll be lucky if you see 125-130psi, on a good (Snap-on) gauge.

08 Superjet Handpole and steering ??

The -2" on the '08 pole is in the bracket area - they did not shorten the fiberglass portion at all. The distance between the cable mount and the pivot point of the turn plate is 2" less than previous SJ's (happens to be the same as the FX-1). This is a hot topic lately, maybe wee need to get a...

    Carbon B Chamber Opinions

Hmmm, I got lots of that too, trust me still doesn't break TNT's. I'm not trying to be an azz, just curious really. Do you have another problem (pourous material, bad weld, bad welder, etc, etc?). I like my TNT's and they have been really durable. Even the couplers have held up well...

    Carbon B Chamber Opinions

Yeah, what he said^^^^ I have 2 TNT's and neither one has ever needed to be welded. Do you have some major vibration going on or what? :261:
