    550/750 Swap Build questions

I'd only recommend that if he isn't running a small pin cylinder specifically a sx cylinder as the 6 degree advance is too much timing for that cylinder on pump gas especially at max rpm. I'd skip the advance plate and go with a Zeeltronic if anything. 750 electronics will work with the zeel out...

BA Freak (155 conversion) & carbon circus

Yep my first decent one was the hobbyzone apprentice 1.2m that was ready to fly for 300 bucks. Has optional floats for 30 bucks. The foam is great and much easier to repair than fiberglass haha. When they crash it's pretty easy to glue them back together again. The edf jets are badass. The f16...

BA Freak (155 conversion) & carbon circus

Rc planes are where it's at! I got into them a year ago and it's been a darn good time learning to fly! I'm up to 7 planes now with 2 that have floats for water take off and landings haha. The most fun are the 70mm edf f16 thunderbird jet and the 90mm fa-18 super hornet with thrust vectoring...

    Sunk the ski…all okay? Maybe?

Haha I've broken a Reed and bent a butterfly on one of the carbs at the same time. Tried to put a plug loosely threaded halfway in too early and the water pressure broke the Reed and bent the butterfly on the front cylinder. One of those mistakes that only happens once haha.

    Sunk the ski…all okay? Maybe?

I've sank my ski several times. Each time I wasted no time getting the water out and the ski running again. Never had a bent rod or anything

What happened to the stroker "kits"

Newmiller machine is also every bit as dependable as Jetmaniac and lpw as well. Also had very good experience with Jeff seebold at competitive crankshaft. I'm not sure if Newmiller is still around or not but I delt with him on my kawi engines. Very knowledgeable guy and always picked up the...

What happened to the stroker "kits"

It seems to me that for all of the extra cost for machine work, porting, special pistons etc isn't really worth it compared to a stock stroke ported engine especially for a few extra thousand, aftermarket power valve cylinders are available. 4-5k for a complete stroker engine or 6500 for a...

    Built 750sxi Issues

It should let air through one way and not the other. If it let's air through in both directions it's bad. Should only let air into the tank not out

    750 SXI Jetting ?

When you change the airbox out for a open filter, you must lower your popoff pressure to compensate. Keihin makes 3 different springs that I'm aware of. You'll need a small air pump to test it. I'm not sure what stock popoff pressure is on a keihin but try to get the popoff around 20-25psi and...
