i tryed the 1.5 and it starts to fire then the starter disengauses. nothing more

i rejetted it. changed the spring rebuilt the carb. got it running mint. but the idle was too high. shut it off lowered the idle and it never started again. messed with the idle and screws. and still nothing. when it ran it was very smokey. seems like its still getting way too much gas and...

ill try those jets. whats every1 else running for jets, springs, etc on a 550 pp motor? im going to buy a bunch of different jets, springs, etc

my 550 with a new seadoo 580 starter and my wetjet 432 with a brand new $120 starter almost fires up then the starter disengages as soon as it starts to fire. if it held for like 2 more seconds they would fire up. what causes this? id like to fix this asap

blow and suck on the nipples LOL. but seriously. yeah i took off the carb and it ran for a short time. i think i wanna start fresh with a full rebuild and what size jets, needles, springs, etc should i get to start out with?

i tried smaller jets got even closer but still nothing. when it almost starts the starter disengages and spins freely... and it still seems to be flooding. maybe time to rebuild the carb?

thank you. the pistons arnt backwards and i got a 160+ psi reading when in installed a better starter. the old hardly spun. now it just seems like a carb issue. i gtg get way smaller jets today and try again. im getting closer tho

started it with no carb and it fired up immediatly! and i had to quickly shut it down. i put the carb on after drying the carb out and set the high and low screw to 1/2 turn and fired than died. def flooded agin. why does it keep flooding? am i doing somthing wrong?

good spark. good fuel. good timing. it almost starts with no carb and noithing with a carb on. so im thinking a carb rebuild. nice info in the leak down test. im going to save that

im getting fuel out the return line. still nothing. and the plugs r wet too.

what else should i try and look for? basicaly i need to start with the correct lines and where they go and how many turns on the air/fuel adjustments i should start with. ?

ok. i will do that tomorrow. i also noticed that the gas cap where the lines go in is leaking fuel. the tank is only like 1/4 full
