Thats what happened to ours is the tabs broke. I can't beleive there isn;t a billet aluminum cover out there somewhere! We need to make one and make a million$$
My buddy and I have 88-90 kaw 650sx's. We recently learned how to sub, however, both of us, within two days riding broke off the plastic cover and fuel door above gas cap. Were we doing something wrong? Does this happen alot? are there stouter covers (aluminum?) that won't break? Please help.
I bought this boat from a guy in texas. no title. no registration but he claimed it was on the up and up and that he would help me get a title. Turns out the numbers on the boat are registered to another boat in texas, not this kawi. oops! I have the number off the motor but I need the hull...
Better than check the compression. Always get a title. Turns out this ski may be hot. The numbers he had on the side match a different expired boat in texas! Crappo!
I just bought it. My 1st 650. I have had a 1977 440 for abouta year. I'm guess I am going to get a carb kit and clean the carb really good, change the intake gaskets and check the jets. Thanks for your input. I'll keep you updated
I just bought a 1987 js 650. It runs good when started and running in the top end, however, it won't idle in the water and dies if you ever get off the throttle. Then once dead, it won't start unless you choke it. any advise on where to start?
I just bought a 1987 js650 in Wichita Falls, TX. I want to switch it over to mix gas and do away with the oil injection. Will someone walk me through this process please?
