Nice work! Never realized the early models had the yamaha drivetrain like this.

Will be using the driveline from a 97 Waveraider 1100. Should make the swap super easy and clean because of the integrated e box the 1100's have. Also just put an entire pump setup in it last fall so I have a super clean 155 with trim to use.

Yes, got the hose and 2 grommets on amazon. Both were pool accy's. I only have a 780 so I feel between the x metal pole and these 2 hoses I am getting more than enough air. I didn't want holes in the front so mine only has the 2 slots in the rear. Never ever had even the slightest bit of water...

Last page of that thread has some ideas, I run 2 1.5 breather hoses into the engine bay and let it breather in through the rear slots

The front foot hold on my Chan was the most pointless thing I did. The only thing it gets used for is tucking the strap into when its in my truck.

Hard to tell but from the pictures it looks like your doing more of a nose stab. Try to keep the ski flatter and get your weight forward over the ski when you spin. And dont feel to bad about not flipping, I wimped out in the surf at brigantine. Saw to many people hit bottom hard. I know how...

My ski is all shined up and ready to go. I'll be heading down from NH after work friday night if its a go. This is an awesome event I would hate to miss. Had a blast last year.

I'll be there with the Chan, first time taking her in the surf. Should be a good time.
