does it make any difference if you feather the throttle as you ride to keep it running? I was having about the same problem and I pulled the carbs a apart and what I found was that there was a torn diaphragm that leaked just a tiny amount of fuel and caused heck with trying to make it run right....

If it was me, I would use the first one you mentioned, it should raise the compression and then I would get a timing advance kit which is about $50 bucks and run race gas in it to get some good power out of the ski......but that's just my two cents.

Im having a hard time getting my carbs tuned it, there the dual mikuni carbs on the ski. I can get it set on all bottom end or top end, there is no mid throttle to it at all. right now the jet ski starts up and I can pin the throttle and take off and then just back it off alittle and it pick up...

So i have a 2001 sxi pro, I put the coffman chamber pipe on it, it seems to be rubbing on the hull alittle bit? when the ski idles you can hear it tap off the hull wall...... any ideas? will it be fine? or do i need to put something inbetween the exhaust and wall?? move it?

Try a heat gun and a huge eraiser, I cant think of the name of it, they sell them at carquest or auto paint places. Its bascially a huge eraiser that goes on your drill and it takes it off alot eaiser! I got mine all preped last night to spray hopefully tomrrow il spray it and post some pictures
