To narrow down your problem, you can open up the ebox and disconnect the red lead that goes to the starter and then touch it to the other red lead that goes to the battery. This will bypass everything and you should get spark. If you don't I would say its the stator.
Does your intake suck in air or blow it out? If it does, than it could be in your fuel lines. My prob was that the reeds were bent and in pretty bad shape. Let me know if this helps
Can you check the vacuum with the reed cage off or does it have to be there to get suction? Could it still be the crank seals even if it sounds like its about to start. Do you have to disassemble the entire engine to get to the crank seals?
I took off the carb and found that I don't have any suction at the intake. The spark plugs always have a lot of fuel on them. The top compression is good and the engine is trying to start. Would this mean that the reeds are bad?? Or would it be something else such as a seal or something...
Absolutely no fuel is going into the carbs. I just rebuilt it with all new gaskets, springs, filter and diaphram. What are some solutions to get it to send fuel again.?
So I think I got it, finally!! Lol. The start stop switch isnt working and the carb isnt sending fuel to the engine. I am gonna take the switch apart and try to fix the spring. I also got a carb kit and im gonna rebuild it this week. Fingers crossed!!
Yep tried starting fluid, wd 40 and a lighter to the plugs, and a small bit of acetone. I'm gonna clean out the bottom of the engine with some power tune and gumout to get out sludge that built up from not being able to get it started. I'm also going to rebuild the carb. What should the bottom...
I fixed the kill switch with the method that is online. It is a constant spark and the CDI is brand new. The plugs do have a constant spark for 15 seconds. The fuel filter is filling up so I know that there is fuel getting to the engine. The plugs are fairly new. I'm gonna take the carb and...
I found out that the relay was bad. I jumped the two red wires together and it turned over, but I still can't get any spark. I hooked all the wires up correctly in the ebox and its very dry inside the box.
K so I got the flywwheel and stator off there was a little bit of water but no rust. I cleaned them both really well and put everything back together exactly the way it was and now it wont start at all. No click nothing at all. What should I do?
93 Superjet Won't StartI have a 1993 superjet that was running like a champ until I went out to the lake the other day and it got submerged. As soon as I got it back to land I flipped it over and got all the water out of it and restarted it and ran it till all the water was out of the engine. It...
