It could be an electrical issue. Electrical parts are notorious for working while cold but failing as they heat up. Check your coil continuity and stater readings.

Did you check to make sure that all of the oil lines were still attached to both sides?

Are you positive all starter wire connections were tight? If they were loose it would cause it to burn up. When you installed the stator did you line the arrow on the stator plate up to the arrow on the case?

At 83mm pistons you are running a 735 not a 701. That is why the 701 domes are hitting the pistons.

What size domes do you have and what kind compression are you looking for?

When you press the start button and do not hear anything, listen for a click form the eBox. this is a sign of a bad starter relay.

The carbs must be rejected as well as the cooling needs rerouted. You should not need anything else as the kit comes with all parts needed.

As far as i can tell, they are different. Looking at the fiche, the numbers are different. I believe the superjet cable is longer than any other cable yamaha made.

For the 08+ hulls, the TBM ride plate is the ticket. It keeps the ski planted but also allows the nose to rise in the corners enough to not hook really hard, something that is notorious with the new hulls. Pair that with any fecund intake grate such as the word 228 and your boat will plow...

The superjet uses a 144mm pump and the wb2 used a 155mm pump. The big pump can be used but requires retrofitting. The drive shaft will not transfer over. I believe your couplers and midshaft housing will work but i am not positive about the midhsaft. You will need waterbox, exhaust, driveshaft...
