Does straightening out the arm not cause any problems with the cable angle?

Have an 89 x2, the steering is terrible, almost unrideable, I know there are some mods but is it possible to extend the top steering arm to get more nozzle throw? The nozzle only seems to use half it's possible movement in either direction

A good idea, poorly executed. Firstly it shouldn't have a solid stud, the thread would have to be way to fine to be able to get enough accuracy in the adjustment. It would need to be turned in such small increments to effectively relieve the spring tension it just wouldn't work. The stud should...

Always used it for that, just seems overkill for a handle, weight saving definitely wasn't a first priority when they designed it haha
