Mine tee's into the trailer plug and uses the reverse as the "ON". It's nice that it automatically comes on when in reverse. But would be nice to turn on when need. Same as ADDict, I can't see the jet ski when in tow. However my camera points down at the ball hitch. I can see the trailer is...- sriner

It's just an input voltage. Find something that is always sending power and add a switch. Where do you pick up the "ON" signal now?- sriner
