Sold this ski almost two years ago, I believe that it got gutted out. Wonder where the hull went.

You are correct, I should do some own research too! But from what I’ve heard so far, I might just sell my ski. I’m not an absolute die hard rider. I can find other hobbies out there lol. No point to have My ski if it’s just going to be a pain to find places to ride (and safely too lol)

I’m honestly going to miss the St Croix, Won’t miss this winter tho!! Ive never been out there before, so it definitely will be a culture shock lol.

Going to create an operation to lighten/drill a flywheel. I will consider balancing, but I most likely will have to send that off afterwords. Watch out @#ZERO and @speedysprocket there's gonna be a new flywheel cowboy in town. Looking for a cheap 61x flywheel.

Project needs to be an assembly combining both lathe and milling operations. Hm.

Thanks all for the ideas. My next big purchase will be an AM pole. As sweet as building tube pole ends sounds, it definitely will exceed the amount of material allowed for this project. Most likely would take more than a week too, lmao. Unfortunately the shop doesn't allow us to use equipment...

Im taking a "Computer Aided Manufacturing" course this semester and I've been learning how to take a model from a program (NX11) and create operations to post process it to codes for CNC machines. I've been playing around on a Haas VF3 and a Romi M510. The next coming up project is whatever...

@yamanube, had it out a few times since the sortie. The Michigan surf hasn't been in my favor yet, but it's a blast in what surf I rode in so far. No complete backflips so far. I want to send it off to a pro to get the carb and pipe dialed in.

Getting ready to take this ski out to the TCJP Sortie meet, cold turkey after two months. Wish me luck. "getting ready" as- flying into Minneapolis on Saturday, going home, picking up my ski, picking up some beer, and driving directly to the sortie.

I had to leave for Fort Knox for some officer training, within the first week of completing it haha. I still have another month at Fort Bragg. The thirst to ride is real!

I don't mind the nose high at lower speeds, it's just keeping the pump hooked up without porpoising at high speed. Giving I only still have one tank of riding so I still have to get used to it. Or else I'll probably get a longer ride plate, then a shorter pole.

All I can say is WOWEE! I think I might need some spaceship fuel for this thing cuz all it wants to do is take off! This feels like a whole new hull(of course all I've ever ridden was a 440 and a waterlogged superjet). I rotated over half way on my first jump, and I wasn't even trying! Anything...
