I have the same issue with some old bmr/ F/S “47”s and got the same response on parts lol. It looks like the shaft is just the original 46 with the slot widened and screws original mikuni too. I would assume yours will be the same. Not sure yet where to get the butterfly tho.
Another possibility, an overlooked bent rod could cause uneven compression. If you didn’t, check squish clearance w lead before pulling the head, would be an easy check.
Mine sticks too. I’ve tried cleaning, silicone spray, and a new / “updated” larger ball. It’s better than it was but still sticks regularly. Interested if anyone has a real fix!
You measured a constant draw with an amp meter? I get a spark when first hooking up the battery ground on mine, but it doesn’t drain the battery if left connected.

I did some “digging” in mine lol. Where it had the hole in the potting looks like it could be a “linear voltage regulator” with a heat sink. So makes sense that if that burned up it would have these results like you explained. Not sure how to test it but maybe I’ll try to replace it…...
