Does anyone run the Pro Watercraft hull extensions? Do they make a difference in keeping the nose down? I know keeping the nose down is A LOT rider technique but these are supposed to help also. They sure look badass haha. At $190 they’re kind of spendy to just hope they make a difference...
Awesome! Thanks!! Yeah I’d definitely looks like it was the original stuff. Dark grey and not the normal consistency of grease. Also the black plastic 8mm cone cap broke when I was undoing it (new one on order) so you know it hasn’t been done regularly. Thanks for the help!
Hey everyone just picked up a 1985 js550. Going through everything. Just removed the pump cone and it was full of dark grey grease. But slightly less thick than normal grease. It would have started spilling out if I left it sit sideways. It almost had a slight gear oil smell to it. But maybe I’m...
Ok everyone update on the oil injection line ID size. I could not find any official documentation anywhere on what the OFFICIAL size is for 760 oil lines besides eBay and Amazon saying that the hoses “fit”. 3/32 ID seemed to be the consensus but I needed hard confirmation so I bit the bullet and...

Ok cool thanks. I guess my biggest question is what size is it? The official Yamaha part for the oil line hose doesn’t tell you the size. I’ve read a few places that it’s 3/32” ID line. But nothing official. When I pulled the old hard worn out oil line off the ID seemed to match the new 3/32” line.
Thanks for the reply. When I say tight I should clarify. I meant they had shrunk up so much that the lines had no slack left and were starting to pull off the nipples. The lines were so hard they pulled off extremely easy. Also what is primer line?
Hey everyone long time lurker, new member here. I just picked up a 1997 Waveblaster 2 (teal one 760 dual carb). This thing is pretty clean! Seems to have very low hours impeller looks brand new, bottom of hull still shiny teal gelcoat with only a couple chips here and there. Head bolts never...
