this is one of your conversions that i picked up from ratti...I figured if I did not move the footholds forward it would be the equivalent of riding a normal length hull with my feet 3 inches off the back...like doing a constant tail stand.
no, not really a gator fan, just used the gator orange as an example of what i wanted to yamaslut and he was able to get it exact. goin with white turf with orange footholds.
nick, aka yamaslut, is the man! I highly recommend him for any kind of work you need done on your ski. Super cool guy and very knowledgeable. Not sure if he wants the work, but pm him about getting your ski painted...very professional and fair price!
ValuJet was grounded by the FAA on June 16, 1996. It was allowed to resume flying again on September 30, but never recovered from the crash. In 1997, it merged with AirTran Airways. The ValuJet name was so tarnished by this time that it decided to take the AirTran name.
check your sources...
I bought a -3 hull with a watercraft factory top deck that was complete except bonding together. But after talking on the x i found out i need my footholds at least 3 inches forward. I pussed out of doing the job myself (glassing in the missing 3 inches behind it) so I figured a fiberglass...
I am going to cut the footholds out and reglass more forward before I put the top deck and bottom together...i bought the hull new/used with them already installed, so i figure I might as well do it now while it is nice and easy to access...again thank you for all the feedback!
my other question is what are my foaming options. I read everyones posts about refoaming then being waterlogged again soon after. How does a ski hold up to being ridden without foam, just drain plugs. does the foam give strength to the tray area or is it just for flotation? how about buoyancy?
What length pole should I use with a -3 Watercraft Factory Top Deck Conversion Superjet? Will it have to be way short to get in the best riding position on the short ski? Will a -2 X-metal pole with lowered bracket be ok?
whats up guys, i bought a sn superjet today with a b pipe, riva non girdled head, single carb (61x/61x 701). It was purchased as a non running ski with eletrical issues but good compression. I put a new cdi box and coil in and fixed the electical problem. took it out and it ran pretty good...
that white ski ripped...i bought it from a guy over in tampa who owned lots of blasters...not sure who did the work...it always had dual carbs on it though...the single carb was on the burnt orange ski i sold with the white ski
