It was a couple years ago but if i remember correctly it was the thickness of each vein needed to be widened slightly. Also the bore at the front needed to be a bit larger it think.
No a 144 stuffer is not a direct fit into the 155. About an hour of fitting and grinding little by little with a dremel i was able to fit a 144 tbm into my oem 155 nicely. Its easily done.
you want the electric start on, it pulls initial timing to allow the machine to start easier.
you want S1 on Switch 1 off, you dont want to add 4000rpm to your rev limit.
you want your retard +15 switch on, it gives you more options when setting your retard.

does not look like bottom end failure to me, bottom end failure ususally leaves sharp dents of all makes and sizes from crank bearing races. does not look like detonation or water ingestion either. to be honest it looks like a small round ball shape of metal got sucked up or possibly a reed screw?
