Thanks for the suggestions! I am more interested in the science behind this oval in the stock rideplate, or the D Cut seen in AM rideplates (the red D). I understand the D Cut (black D) at the back of the rideplate. Can anyone enlighten me?

I would bet these setting are for a mikuni bn 38mm 1987 up, remember this is a Keihin 28mm only year on the 650 is 1986. Usually Keihin carb screws are open more than Mikuni carbs.

Does anyone have a factory service manual for an 86 X2 650. I need the initial mixture screw settings for a 28mm keihin carb, completely stock, no mods. I forgot to check them before rebuild. :aargh4: Thanks Les

I have a 650 TS nozzle without trim, i do believe that the X2 and TS share the same pump, someone correct me if i'm wrong. And i would love to trade for some X2 parts. Les
